Welcome to the home of Grid 1 Audio LLC on the web. We wanted to launch a website that will let our customers experience the power and freedom the G1 amplifier has to offer. A place where you can listen to audio clips recorded on the G1 using many different guitars, settings, and playing styles. All of the audio tracks are recordings of the G1 amp using only the controls and reverb on the amplifier. No pedals, or studio efx were used to dress up the sound. We hope these audio samples give you a good idea of the sound quality you are going to get when playing a G1 amplifier. We also provide video clips (more to come) so you can hear the G1 amp being played outdoors in locations where power is not an option, so you can better understand the freedom this amp provides. The video clips were recorded directly through the built in microphone on the handheld video camera.
Our goal with the website is to help you try a G1 amplifier before you buy, and when you are ready to buy a G1, we want to make it easy to customize a system just for you. We provide a starting ground with hardwood cabinet selections, grill cloth options, chassis options, and tolex covered amps for those that want it. This is only version 1.0 of the website and it will evolve as our company and product line develop. We understand that there is a long way to go regarding product customizations, photos, and automation. We plan to continue developing our website until we have a complete custom shop online where you will be able to view your G1 amp as you build it. Everytime you change a custom option the amp will show you the change. We are not there yet, but after the Namm Show we will be working to complete a fully automated custom shop, to make it easy for you to build the G1 of your dreams.
For now we provide a simple sign-up form with pull down menus to select custom options. To the right of the options you can view samples of the choices currently available. We also allow you to specify your custom options at the end of the form for those that want something other than what is currently being offered. We do not ask for any payment during the custom build process as we realize you will most likely want to talk to us before a final decision is made, and to be sure the customizations are exactly what you want. Once we dial in what you are looking for we will ask for a 50% deposit to get started building your G1 amplifier. Please take your time and check out the photos, videos, and audio samples, we have provided on this website.
